County Court SNAP

Community support and strong partnerships are key ingredients in the success of the SNAPs. TRCA is seeking interested partners to work with us on the development, implementation and evaluation of the plans. The project needs innovative ideas for encouraging homeowners and businesses to participate in retrofits for their older homes, buildings and yards. The SNAP projects are a great opportunity to promote new or existing green products and services in a small area where success can be monitored over time. Possible retrofit projects include: energy and water conservation measures, renewable energy production, permeable pavement, rainwater management technologies and eco-friendly landscaping. Research partners can also help identify transferrable lessons about the implementation of actions for sustainability and climate change mitigation and adaptation at the neighbourhood scale.
